Sheldon Winkler, DDS,

  Dr. Sheldon Winkler is Adjunct Professor, School of Dental Medicine, Midwestern University, Glendale, Arizona. He previously served as Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Prosthodontics and Dean of Research, Advanced Education, and Continuing Education at Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has authored or co-authored six textbooks including Essentials of Complete Denture Prosthodontics, Approximately 175 articles and chapters in professional journals and textbooks, and founded the journal Implant Dentistry, which he edited for six years.
Dr. Winkler is currently Senior Editor of the Journal of Oral Implantology.
Dr. Winkler serves as educational and prosthodontic consultant to dental schools in Paraguay, Chile, Thailand, Egypt, and Jordan.
Dr. Winkler received the International Education Award, the highest honor of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Winkler was awarded a Journalism Award from the International College of Dentists in 1993, and was honored by Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 1995 with its Academic Devotion Award.

  


 Leonard I. Linkow, DDS,DMSc.
Honorary President of AAIP, ADIS Course coordinator. The name Linkow is synonymous with implants. Dr. Linkow has traveled around the world to lecture and demonstrate his surgical and restorative implant procedures. He developed and introduced numerous implant systems, many of which are in use today throughout the world. In 1992 New York University created the first and only endowed chair in Implantology in
perpetuity with Dr. Linkow as the recipient.  Dr. Linkow is considered by his many colleagues as  the "Father of Oral Implantology."
Dr. Linkow is currently Clinical Professor, Department of Implant Dentistry, New York University College of Dentistry. He has authored 13 textbooks and approximately 600 articles and guest chapters in professional journals and textbooks.

  Mike Shulman, DDS, ADIS Director
L.I.I.O.C. Director   

Dr. Mike Shulman graduated from the Latvia Medical Academy, Riga, Latvia, in 1985, and completed his postgraduate training in oral surgery the following year at the Latvia Medical Academy.
He received his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Shulman has placed and restored thousands of implants in his general dentistry practice with a number of implant systems.  He has lectured nationally and internationally on oral implantology and presented a large number of implant continuing education courses throughout the world. Dr. Shulman is Adjunct Associate Professor of the School of Dental Sciences, University of Technology, Jamaica, a Master of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Implant  Prosthodontics.


Irving Fitzgodfrey McKenzie, MD, MSc (orthodontics). L.I.I.O.C. Director
                                                          
  Dr. Irving Fitzgodfrey McKenzie received his medical degree, with a speciality in stomatology, from I. P. Pavlov Medical University, St. Petersburg, Russia, and his MS degree from St. Petersburg Academy. He is Director of Dental Services, Ministry of Health, Kingston, Jamaica. Dr. McKenzie is Adjunct Professor of Dental Surgery and Interim Head of the School of Dental Sciences, University of Technology, Jamaica. He has published and lectured nationally and internationally on infection control procedures, dental public health, orthodontics, dentofacial orthopedics, and forensic stomatology. Dr. McKenzie is Secretary of the Caribbean Council of Chief Dental Officers.


Dr. Ana Elizabeth Dias, ADIS Clinical Director

Dr. Ana Elizabeth Dias graduated in dentistry and oral surgery at Superior Institute of Medical Sciences of Santiago de Cuba in 2006.

Dr. Dias received specialized postgraduate training in Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics

and Restorative Dentistry.

Dr. Dias has successfully completed numerous implant hands-on courses

in Implant Dentistry at Linkow Implant Institute.Had placed and restored number of implants, utilizing different implant systems.Dr. Dias has been appointed as an clinical director of Linkow Implant Institute of Caribbean.

Dr. Luca Dal Carlo                                                             
Dr. Luca Dal Carlo graduated from the University of Padua (Italy) in 1988
with a specialty in prosthodontics.  He is the founder of the New Italian Group for Studies in Implantology.
He has lectured throughout the world for dental schools, dental societies, and specialty groups and has authored over 50 articles and chapters
in professional journals and textbooks.
Dr. Dal Carlo maintains  a private practice in Venice, Italy.






  John Minichetti DDS        
Dr. John Minichetti is a general dentist who has been placing and restoring implants for over 25 years.   He is a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID).  He is a fellow and honorary fellow of the AAID and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry. Dr. Minichetti is a former faculty member of Fairleigh Dickenson University and Mt Sinai Medical School, an attending at Englewood Hospital and Meadowlands Hospital.  He is past president of the Northeast district of the AAID and President of the Bergen County Dental Implant Study Group, Co-Director of the NY AAID Study Club at NYU, and past Chairman of the AAID Research Foundation.   Dr. Minichetti now serves as Vice President of the AAID.Dr. Minichetti is the director of the Dental Implant Learning Center, where he instructs a year long “mini-residency” for dentists learning both implant surgery and restoration.  He is also the Director of the Las Vegas 300 hour AAID Maxicourse ® in implant dentistry and teaches at the Zimmer Institute East and West. He has published numerous scientific articles and lectured worldwide.

 Peter Neff, DDS, ScD. 

Dr. Neff is currently Vice President of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.         
     
Dr. Peter Neff graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1963. In 1966 he left a lucrative practice in Florida to accept the position of Professor and Chairperson of Georgetown’s Occlusion Department, which he held until 1990. Dr. Neff has traveled the world giving hundreds of lectures and workshops to academics, dental schools, and organizations. His classic textbook, TMJ Occlusion and Function, which has been translated into five languages, is used by dental students around the world. 

Harold F. Morris, DDS, MS.    

Dr. Morris is President-Elect of the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics.                                        
       Dr. Harold Morris received his DDS from Ohio State University School of Dentistry, completed his graduate training in prosthodontics at the State University of New York at Buffalo and his graduate training in dental materials at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He has lectured throughout the world for dental schools, dental societies, and specialty groups. Dr. Morris has authored or co-authored approximately 250 articles and chapters in professional journals and textbooks, and currently serves as Senior Associate Editor of the Journal of Oral Implantology. Dr. Morris is Co-director of the Dental Implant Clinical Research Group and Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Robert Braun, DDS, MS.
 Dr. Robert Braun, a Marquette University School of Dentistry graduate, also holds a masters degree in diagnostic sciences. He is currently Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Medicine and Surgery at Temple University School of Dentistry, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Braun is also a visiting professor at the University
of Wisconsin, Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Braun completed a fellowship in the Department of Medical Genetics at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He teaches, practices and publishes within the discipline of radiology and oral medicine, and is a contributing author for the textbook Burkett’s Oral Medicine.

 
 
Ira  Eisenstein, DMD               
Dr.
Ira Eisenstein, a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, is Clinical Associate Professor of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania. He has been involved in dental education since receiving his DMD from Tuft University in 1973. He is on the teaching staff of the Department of Periodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he served as Chairman of the Division of Periodontics for six years. He is a pioneer in the field of periodontal plastic aesthetic implant dentistry, reconstructive surgery and smile design. He has published and lectured nationally and internationally on dental implants and soft and hard tissue grafting. Dr. Eisenstein maintains a private practice in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
 
Shankar Iyer, DDS, MSD.                 
Dr. Shankar Iyer is Clinical Assistant Professor, Postgraduate Prosthodontics, New York University College of Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral Implantology. He is Director and President of Smile USA. Dr. Shankar is an international speaker and has authored a number of peer-reviewed articles in
professional journals. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Oral Implantology.


    Roberto Russo, DDS. 
Dr. Roberto Russo graduated in dentistry and oral surgery   at    the top of his class from the University of Catania (Italy) in 1988, and received specialized postgraduate training at the University Hospital of Catania. He received his DDS (with honors) from New York University College of Dentistry in 1993. He is certified to practice dentistry in all members of the European Union. Dr. Russo has successfully completed numerous implant full-mouth rehabilitation cases, including implant placement and restoration, utilizing a number of different implant systems.
